Process Overview

Here's a peek at what to expect during our time together. It may look like a lot, but don't fret! We'll let you know what's needed from you every step of the way.

A look at the big picture

At the end of your Design Span, we’ll launch your brand and/or website! You’ll receive video training on how to update your website, as well access to our website update services.

Launch!

Phase 4

This is the 1-2 week period when we do all the designing of your project. We’ll go back & forth each day, sending you new design updates to review and requesting feedback by the following morning.

Phase 2

This is where we get everything from your head into ours. Our Onboarding Guide will collect info about your project, and then we’ll meet for a Strategy Session to get aligned on your brand and map out your website.

Onboarding

Phase 1

If your package includes a website, you’ll use our Website Workbook to write your copy & provide photos. You'll also have time to schedule a brand photo shoot or work with a copywriter, if you choose.

We’ll send you a few date options to select your Design Span, which is the 1-2 weeks when we’ll do all the actual designing of your project (more below!).

Schedule your Design Span
During this one-hour virtual meeting, we’ll talk through the key sections of your website & review your Pinterest board.

Attend your Strategy Session
In this guide, we'll collect some initial info from you, have you create a Pinterest board, & schedule your Strategy Session.

During this phase, we’ll get aligned on your vision and get everything from your head into ours.

Complete your Website Workbook
This step-by-step guide includes directions & tools to help you write your website copy, select your photos, and pass off any login credentials needed.
If you’re thinking about hiring a copywriter for your website copy or a brand photographer, now’s the perfect time! Be sure to check their delivery timeline to ensure it aligns with our project deadlines. And if you need a recommendation, we’re happy to help!

Your Website Workbook—including all copy and photos—is due one week prior to the start of your Design Span to make sure we’re prepped and ready for you!

Important note!

Once everything is designed, we’ll get your final stamp of approval. We’ll launch your website at your domain and/or package up your brand elements. Woohoo! 🥳

Provide Final Approval
We’ll spend each day working on the design of your brand or website, and send you something new to review by 6pm EST, along with a request for feedback by 10am EST the following morning.

Review Designs & Give Feedback

This is the exciting 1-2 weeks when all the design work happens!

Design Span

Phase 3

We’d love to continue supporting you beyond your project! We offer Website Update Services exclusively to past clients, and you’ll also get access to our library of Showit website tutorials. We’re also only an email away if you have questions 💖

What happens after our project is done?

We'll need you to provide all the content (photos & copy) for your website. We'll take of the strategy, layout, design & development.

If you don't have photos to provide to us, you can purchase our Stock Photo Add-On, and we'll curate images for you 🫶

While we don't offer copywriting services, we do provide general guidance to help you craft your website copy, as well as light editing if desired.

What will I need to provide for my website?

Just one! We'll need to meet for your one-hour Strategy Session to get aligned on your brand and/or website. But during your Design Span, we'll send everything via email, so there's no need to get on any calls!

Do I need to be available for calls?

Typically about 2-3 months from onboarding to launch.

Once you've signed the contract and paid your deposit, we'll get your Onboarding Guide to you within 1-2 days. It'll take a few hours to complete, and you'll book your Strategy Session at the end of the guide.

We recommend 2-6 weeks for phase 2, to make sure you have plenty of time to prep. At the end of your 1-2 week Design Span, we'll launch your project!

How long will the whole process take?
